Below, you will find the simple steps required to receive an admissions decision. Please note that upon submission of steps 1 and 2, we can proceed with reviewing your application for a decision while you complete the remaining steps. - Step 1: Complete and submit the admissions application online
- Step 2: Submit your high school/GED and/or college transcripts (if you have attended any other colleges)
For the fastest response, all Georgia residents may use the high school link above to request that your high school transcript be sent us. If you have attended any other colleges or attended a high school out of state, contact your institution and have your transcripts sent - electronically to admissions@atlm.edu or 1630 Metropolitan Parkway, SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
- Step 3: Submit your Lawful Presence document to admissions@atlm.edu
- Step 4: Submit your certificate of immunization record
- Step 5: Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There is no need to wait! Though completing the financial aid application
- has no bearing on an admissions decision, it is an important step to complete early in the process. Go to www.studentaid.gov to complete
- the online application today. AMSC's federal school code is: 012165
Note: ACCUPLACER is the current test that is being used for course placement at Atlanta Metropolitan State College. Testing is not a requirement for college admission, but the reason to take the ACCUPLACER test is to be exempted from corequisite learning support Math and English classes. If you have not already taken this exam, or if you have not earned transferring English and Math credit, you have the option to take this exam to eliminate taking extra courses.
